ci: re-pin the shared review engine and receive review events directly - #4713
Conversation
#4710 deleted the signal workflow but left this file unchanged, so the caller still points at the superseded engine and still waits on a workflow_run trigger whose workflow no longer exists. dashpay/stale_prs_are_bad#9 landed as a95eab4ec0938e9022edd0c82591d052408a38a5. 📝 WalkthroughWalkthroughThe workflow now triggers directly on pull request review events. It also references a new reusable workflow revision and removes the previous engine revision pin. ChangesPR review policy workflow

Preserve a write-capable path for fork pull request reviews.
When PR_REVIEW_AUTOMATION_ENABLED=true, pull_request_review reaches pr_review.main.publish with --apply, which attempts status, comment, label, and reviewer-request writes through github.token. GitHub reduces this token to read-only for fork review events, so the policy reconciliation can fail to publish its results. Keep a privileged handoff for these events, or skip apply mode for fork reviews and explicitly support and test the read-only policy before enabling automation.

Issue being fixed or feature implemented
#4710 was supposed to carry two files but only committed one: the signal workflow was deleted while
pr-review-policy.ymlwas left untouched (my error — the deletion was staged, the edit was not). So Platform's caller currently points at the superseded enginecc4d184, still passes the removedengine_revisioninput to it, and still lists aworkflow_runtrigger for the "PR review signal" workflow that no longer exists.Nothing is broken by that — the caller runs the engine it pins, and that engine still declares the input — but Platform is the only one of the five repositories not on the current shape, and review events do not wake it.
What was done?
a95eab4ec0938e9022edd0c82591d052408a38a5(feat(workflow): read the engine pin from the caller's own workflow reference stale_prs_are_bad#9) and dropswith: engine_revision:; the callee reads the pin from this file's ownuses:reference.workflow_runtrigger withpull_request_review, matching the other four repositories. How Has This Been Tested?
The identical caller shape runs green in preview on GroveDB, rust-dashcore, Tenderdash and Dash Evo Tool. Writes remain disabled here:
