fix(docgen): do not mutate shared defaults or user config object (#6805) - #6848
Docgen config: The resolveUserConfig hook assigned config.docgen to the
shared defaults singleton or the caller's userConfig.docgen object, then
mutated root and sourcesDir on it. This corrupted shared state across
config resolutions and threw on frozen objects. Now creates a fresh
resolved object with spread.
Memoized getter: defineGetterMemoized left state as 'doing' when the
getter threw, causing subsequent accesses to throw 'Detected recursion'
instead of retrying. Now resets state to 'todo' in a catch block.

fix(docgen): reset memoized getter state when getter throws (OpenZeppelin#6802)
defineGetterMemoized left state as 'doing' when the getter threw, causing
subsequent accesses to throw 'Detected recursion' instead of retrying.
Now resets state to 'todo' in a catch block so the getter is retried.
FixesOpenZeppelin#6805 and OpenZeppelin#6802.

Walkthrough
The config hook now creates a new config.docgen object from user settings or defaults, then sets its resolved root and sourcesDir. The memoized getter now resets its state to todo and rethrows when getter() fails, allowing a later access to retry.
This change breaks documentation generation. The getter's error handler uses a bare throw;, which is a syntax error, so the docgen tooling no longer loads. Use catch (error) and throw error before merging. A smaller issue is that docgen settings provided by another config hook may be ignored.

Explanation
For [#6805], hardhat/hardhat-solidity-docgen/hook-handlers/config.ts now assigns a new object from userConfig.docgen or defaults. It sets root and sourcesDir on that new object. The hook therefore does not mutate the shared defaults or the caller's object, including when the caller object is frozen.

Full details: Out of Scope Changes check
Explanation
The change in hardhat/hardhat-solidity-docgen/internal/utils/memoized-getter.ts resets memoization state after a getter error. This behavior is separate from [#6805], which covers docgen configuration mutation. The supplied linked-issue evidence does not define [#6802] as an active directly linked objective.
Resolution
Remove the memoized-getter change from this pull request, unless [#6802] is confirmed as an active directly linked objective with applicable scope.

Minor · Data Integrity & Integration · Quick win
Preserve the config returned by next.
If an earlier config hook sets config.docgen.outputDir, this spread discards that value and docgen writes to the user-provided or default directory instead. Hardhat supports chained hooks that customize other plugins. (hardhat.org)
Copy config.docgen ?? userConfig.docgen ?? defaults before overriding root and sourcesDir.

Rethrow the caught value.
throw; is invalid syntax, so this module cannot load. (tc39.es) This also blocks the docgen task, which imports the module through internal/main.ts and internal/site.ts. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
Use catch (error) and throw error to preserve the original error.
