Runs on ubuntu-latest with Node 22 and headless-gl under xvfb. The suite has ~90 known platform-dependent failures on Mesa (llvmpipe) — verified pre-existing against the pre-#840 dependency tree — so the job compares the failure list against .github/known-test-failures.txt and fails only on failures not in that baseline. dev mode delegates to gpu-mock.js, whose mock loops assigned each thread's return value into a Float32Array slot, so a kernel returning an array produced NaN instead of values. Fixed upstream in gpu-mock.js 1.4.0; this moves the dependency from a fork pinned by #840 to that release, which is the fork's code plus the fix. Array returns now match the real backends exactly in one, two and three dimensions, and number returns still come back as a flat Float32Array. Tests cover both, plus parity with cpu mode.
