Kimi K3 via NVIDIA NIM backend infinetly stuck at !!!!!!! During thinking. #53426

Description
When sending any request in any shape or form in the cli installed via npm on windows the thinking process starts for a couple seconds prints exclemation marks(!) and then stops fully. I have tried the desltop app the cli deleting the cache nothing helps alwyas same issue

Steps to reproduce
- /connect to nvidia proivder and enter api key
- select kimi k3 model from nvidia proiver set thinking to max
- it will print !!!!! Non stop or if it works for a short moment but you double press esc to cancel and come back later it will print !!!!!

It obyl hapoend after i interrupted a task kimi was doing and when resuming i only then did the !!! Spam start

Thanks for the report. I couldn't reproduce this here: the
!!!!!output is what NVIDIA NIM's servers return for Kimi K3, and checking that needs a real NVIDIA API key, which this sandbox doesn't have. A maintainer with NVIDIA access will need to look at it.Two things would help narrow it down:
Looking at the code, Kimi K3 on NVIDIA currently gets the generic reasoning-effort settings rather than the Kimi-specific thinking setting OpenCode sends for Kimi K2.6. That could be related, but it isn't confirmed yet.
