Two blocking issues, both already flagged on prior PRs in this session:

2. File-path collision with #1201 (already approved this session): both add tests/friction-detector.test.py from /dev/null. Second to land will hit "file already exists" merge conflict. #1201 has +171 lines, this PR has +331.

Please:

• Strip the 4 bundled files from this PR — keep only tests/friction-detector.test.py
• Reconcile with #1201: either merge the 331 lines here into #1201's file, or close #1201 and let this one carry the canonical friction-detector test (since it has more content)

Closing as superseded by #1201 (already approved by VasiliyRad) — both add tests/friction-detector.test.py, but #1201 also covers archive-stale-results and check-pending-questions and uses class-based structure. No unique content here that #1201 doesn't cover.
