Hello. I am very sorry to hear about the difficult situation you are going through, and I completely understand your frustration. However, it is very important to clarify how this platform works so you know what real steps you can take. GitHub is not a financial platform, a bank, or a cryptocurrency network. GitHub is solely a hosting service where developers from all over the world store, share, and collaborate on software code. If the "contract type" link brought you to GitHub, it only means that the creators of that game (Meme Hash) or smart contract hosted their project's code here. However, you should know that:
Unfortunately, blockchain transactions are generally irreversible. Your best option outside of GitHub is to report the fraud to the cybercrime authorities in your country. I am truly sorry you are going through this. |

Thank you very much for your reply. I really don't know what to do; I have
no way to contact them, and they aren't responding on Telegram either. I am
at a loss as to how to recover my money. I apologize for saying this, but
please ensure your app is properly secured; all sorts of scammers are
operating within your apps—as well as on Tonkeeper and Telegram. Shouldn't
there be some form of oversight?

reverse transactions, or interact with wallets like Tonkeeper or Telegram.
GitHub does not manage these projects: Anyone can create a free account
and upload code. The fact that the contract code is hosted on GitHub does
not mean GitHub is associated with them, endorses them, or controls their
operations.
What can you do within GitHub?
The only thing the platform can do is take down malicious content. You can
report the repository or the user's account that uploaded that code for
fraud. You can do this by going to the user's profile or the repository and
clicking on the "Report abuse" option. If GitHub's Support team verifies it
is a scam, they will remove the code and suspend the account to protect
others, but unfortunately, this will not reverse the transaction or return
your money.

If you followed a link from a blockchain explorer to a GitHub repository, that doesn't mean GitHub operates or controls the project. If you believe a repository is being used for fraud or other abuse, you can report it through our abuse reporting tools. Otherwise, you'll need to work with the service that received your funds or, if you believe you've been the victim of a scam, contact your local law enforcement or consumer protection agency. |

Hello. I am new to GitHub and don't really know much about it; I started using your platform about a month ago. I really need actual support, as my work is very important.
This matter concerns the foreign currency they took from me and are refusing to return.Please reply to my email as soon as possible; this is a major problem for me.
To get straight to the point: about a month ago, I discovered a game on Telegram called Meme Hash.I didn't know anything about the Tonkeeper app and didn't realize that money was being deposited into the game; however, when I looked into it, I entered the wallet address into an app called Ton Viewer, and it showed up.From there, I entered the wallet address I had used for the deposit and checked the details; I saw a "contract type" field, and when I clicked on it, it took me directly to GitHub.I sent messages there—and I still have the record of them—accusing me of lying and being dishonest; they even reported me to you, claiming I was making things up. Upon reviewing the messages, I saw that, indeed, they had scammed and defrauded many people without ever refunding anyone's money.I beg you, please help me recover my money. It is not just me; many others have been deceived as well. Please help.
