Ability to attach test cases to deeply nested columns #36278

The API PUT /api/v1/dataQuality/testCases cannot attach a test case to deeply nested Databricks columns (e.g., party_0.contact.personal_information…address). Currently, test cases link only to root-level columns or one level deep; the UI column selector also only exposes root-level columns. This prevents associating test results with specific nested fields and affects data quality test coverage. The report references version 1.13.3 and asks for alternatives or planned support for deeper nesting.
