Update check screen (UpdateGate) appearing twice

I tested #2248 and I noticed a glich:

1. Before unlock, I tick the "Don't remind me" check box
2. I enter my profile password
3. Unexpectedly, the Update check screen re-appears and I need to tick "Don't remind me" check box again.
