History :

• First issue (Nextcloud 28 and 29) : Nextcloud 28 and 29 : Properly pre-select new file and folder default name when creating them (for quick renaming) #45409
• PR related to the issue : fix(files): Correctly validate new node name #46767
• This week, I made some new tests with Nextcloud 30.0.0 beta 2 and I noticed that some file types aren't taken in account

Nextcloud 30.0.0 beta 2 : It seems working for odt, ods, otp (Collabora) file types (except odg), but not for other file types : odg (Collabora), md and maybe txt (Nextcloud Text), and docx, xlsx, pptx (OnlyOffice). Tested on NC 30.0.0 beta 2. The whole file name and its extension are selected.

Steps to reproduce

Go to Files, and create an odg, md, txt, or OO file.

Expected behavior

As a general rule, whatever the extension of the file being created, only the name should be selected, not the extension and the dot preceding it.

I tried to reproduce this issue on NC29.0.7 and NC29.0.8rc1. Actually, I'm able to reproduce if using Ubuntu with Firefox 131. But I'm not able to reproduce on Android with Firefox 131.
