We need to update this manually since the suffix of the .pkg is now different. Perhaps the release-homebrew.sh script in microsoft/git could also use the asset download URL from the gh API response too?

Matthew John Cheetham (@mjcheetham) you're absolutely right! Here is what I did: 6ec0fd8.
I am updating the release-homebrew.sh script independently as we speak.
The 2.56.0.vfs.0.2 cask still names a universal installer absent from the release. Its only Git .pkg asset is the macOS ARM64 package, whose digest matches the existing checksum. …1013) Promoting v2.56.0.vfs.0.2 selected `git-2.56.0.vfs.0.2-macos-arm64.pkg` and its digest, but the generated cask retained `-universal.pkg` in both `url` and `pkg`. This required [a manual correction in microsoft/homebrew-git#112](microsoft/homebrew-git#112 (comment)). Keep the cask download URL and installer filename aligned with the selected asset. Verified shell syntax and full-script fixture runs, including exact SHA-256 and closing-quote placement.

The v2.56.0.vfs.0.2 cask update had the correct version and checksum but still referenced a universal package instead of the selected macos-arm64 asset, requiring manual correction.
