Refactor Generator to handle updated Durable Functions class-based invocation #501
With this PR, Durable Functions is enabling class-based invocations. In doing so, the generator could now lead to duplicate function definitions. The generator should be updated to handle this new case.
Reasoning:
This requires a major refactor of the source generator to handle updated Durable Functions class-based invocations (per the linked PR in azure-functions-durable-extension). The generator would need significant changes to detect and handle new invocation patterns and avoid generating duplicate function definitions. This is a complex, multi-faceted change that requires deep understanding of both the generator architecture and the Durable Functions extension.
Automated fix candidate: No
Scope exceeds what can be safely done in a single automated fix
Requires understanding of the class-based invocation model from the linked external PR
Risk of introducing regressions in the source generator
