Summary
The dev
lane=allrun 40756291846 failedwindows 1/9onWindows Child HTTP handles success without proxying or following redirects(child exit 1 instead of 0). Every scenario in that loop passed a 250ms deadline towindowsChildHttpArgv, so the success case had to finish a cold PowerShellHttpWebRequestround trip within 250ms on a hosted runner. Production never uses such a budget:remoteChildHttpArgvdefaults toLINK_RELAY_VERIFY_MS(15s).Only the
stalled bodyscenario exercises the deadline, so it keeps 250ms; the other scenarios get 10s. Assertions are unchanged, so redirects, proxies, oversize and invalid UTF-8 are still refused exactly as before. Test-only change.Verification
53a98e9f; the hosted run discarded the child's stderr, so the deadline explanation is inferred from the 250ms budget, the 1.2s hosted duration versus ~0.5s in passing runs, and the production default.OCX_TEST_NO_QUEUE=1:tests/clients/link-ssh-argv-discovery.test.ts13 pass / 18 skip (POSIX-only) / 0 fail; the stalled-body case still fails closed on the deadline.NOT RUN: hosted Windows (next
lane=alldev batch), full suite.Checklist
