test(claude): isolate the remaining Desktop lifecycle-lock fixtures - #7877
Follow-up to #7868. A sentinel sweep found seven more in-process test files whose Desktop, picker and CA writers still reach the account-wide client lifecycle lock (src/client/lifecycle-lock.ts). That lock lives in the effective OS user's runtime directory and is taken with busy_timeout = 0. In parallel CI processes these files can make each other's writers refuse with client_lifecycle_busy (desktop_lifecycle_busy_or_unsafe or write_failed), the failure class #7868 fixed for the first-party tests. The independent review of #7868 named two of them (claude-picker-runtime and claude-picker-relay-intent).
The helper from #7868, isolateClientLifecycleLock, is now installed in beforeEach and restored in afterEach in:
claude-desktop-picker
claude-management-api
claude-picker-relay-intent
claude-picker-runtime
claude-picker-startup
claude-picker-windows
native-claude-desktop-toggle
It keeps real SQLite exclusion and leases and only moves the lock path under the fixture root. No production code, timeouts, retries, skips or assertion changes.
Verification
Windows 11, Bun 1.4.4:
Sentinel sweep: a scratch preload, not committed, records any resolution of the production lock namespace without opening it. Across 185 Desktop, picker, client and integration test files, in-process production lock requests went from 39 to 0. The other 178 files were already at 0; child-process requests are excluded.
On current dev, the seven files plus the file-size ratchet: 153 pass / 1 fail. The remaining failure is fresh production restarts retain fingerprint and issue no trust mutations, including lost trust in claude-picker-startup, a child-process restart case that also fails before this change on this host. bun run typecheck: exit 0.
NOT RUN: full bun run test, hosted macOS/Windows CI.

Tests
Improved isolation and cleanup for desktop picker, management, and related integration tests, including when cleanup steps fail.
Ensured picker tests finish pending transitions before stopping test instances.
Maintained coverage for relay, recovery, startup, runtime, Windows, and desktop toggle scenarios.

Walkthrough
Integration test fixtures now isolate the client lifecycle lock in temporary test roots. Picker runtime, startup, and Windows tests also wait for pending controller transitions during cleanup and restore temporary state if cleanup fails.

Picker tests wait for pending controller transitions before stopping handles. Teardown restores the lock and temporary state even if cleanup fails.
lidge-jun/opencodex#7515: The issue reports Windows teardown failures involving open handles in fixture directories; this change updates cleanup and isolation in additional fixtures.

lidge-jun/opencodex#7868: Adds the lifecycle-lock isolation helper to earlier Claude Desktop fixtures; this change applies it to additional fixtures.
lidge-jun/opencodex#7777: Adds asynchronous picker behavior; this change makes picker test cleanup wait for pending controller transitions.

…wn the lock root
picker-runtime restores the lifecycle spies, environment and root in finally even when a stop or close rejects. picker-startup and picker-windows give the lock a fixture-owned temporary root instead of the inherited OPENCODEX_HOME.

A restart with an applied profile starts controller.enable without awaiting it. Teardown now waits on the controller transition before stopping handles, so the enable cannot run after the lifecycle spy is restored and reach the account-wide lock.
…arrier
The retry case stopped both intercepts directly, so a detached restore-enable could still take the lifecycle lock after teardown restored the spy.
Maintainer integration into dev: required CI (ci aggregate, gates) passed on exact head 9670550, which merges into current origin/dev without conflict; no unresolved review threads. Test-only change. Independent review by GPT-6.1 Sol (high) ran four rounds on this PR. R2 and R4 each found a teardown path that could still reach the account-wide lifecycle lock; both were fixed, and R5 returned PASS with zero blocking findings. R5 also confirmed that the adapted retry probe detects a reverted fix (busyAfterStop=true, acquisitions 7 to 8) and passes with it (false, 9 to 9). CodeRabbit findings are fixed and resolved.
