Summary

Follow-up to #5718. The download chips under the npm command were hidden behind a collapsed block, and the Quick start desktop section had been cut to one short paragraph. This change:

  • Shows the four chips (macOS .dmg, Windows .msi, Linux .AppImage, Linux .deb) directly under npm install -g @bitkyc08/opencodex, with no collapsed block.
  • Restores the full Desktop app (beta) section (platform/file/notes table, .sha256 note, macOS widget, per-OS local build commands, guide links). It sits under Personal install (CLI) in a collapsed <details> block, so npm stays the first install path.
  • Applies the same change to all seven locale READMEs, using each locale's previous full translation, and resyncs readme/i18n-manifest.json.

Verification

  • bun test tests/ci-workflows/docs-readme-translation-parity.test.ts tests/ci-workflows/repo-hygiene.test.ts tests/ci-workflows/docs-link-targets.test.ts tests/ci-workflows/install-scripts.test.ts tests/ci-workflows/file-size-ratchet.test.ts → 94 pass, 0 fail.
  • bun run privacy:scan passed; git diff --check clean.
  • I checked the rendered README on GitHub for this branch (screenshots above). This PR is README only, so bun run test and typecheck were not run locally.

Checklist

  • Scope stays focused and avoids unrelated cleanup.
  • Docs or release notes were updated when needed.
  • Security-sensitive changes were reviewed for secrets, auth, and unsafe defaults.

…tion under the CLI install

The four download chips under the npm command are no longer collapsed. The full Desktop app (beta) section (platform table, checksums, widget, local build) returns under Personal install (CLI) inside a collapsed block. All seven locales resynced.
