The hub cutover: main's architecture onto the production hub (spec-20260910-080000) #955
Problem — The production hub (erlich) still runs the fork dev build: the panel sees the yellow UI but none of the landed functionality (fleet overlay, three modes, posture indicator, routing settings, merged sessions — all in main's overlay app, yellow grammar included since #954). The clients (macbook 0.3.4) speak the post-#840 contract and degrade honestly. Approach — Design-of-record: vault specs/spec-20260910-080000-hub-cutover.md (REHEARSAL-GATED). Topology: the stock vendored v1.18.29 engine replaces the fork binary as opencode serve (same surface, port, OPENCODE_DB pin); the amicode service (the #824/#840 shelf) runs alongside (4097); the frontdoor re-points to the service; rollback = re-point + restart (minutes, everything stays on disk). The gate: the DB migration REHEARSAL — online-backup the canonical DB, run the stock engine's migrations against the COPY, verify (count/integrity/spot-check/API), boot-proof all six surfaces against the migrated copy — then the live swap (post-backup, rollback staged).
Acceptance Criteria
The rehearsal: migrations clean on the copy, session count identical, integrity_check clean, the boot proof's six surfaces PASS against the migrated copy
The swap per the ritual (stage → rename-only → scheduled restart → smoke), the pre-migration backup retained until the panel smoke passes
The macbook panel (0.3.4) frames the service origin and renders the full surface set
Found by the fleet-sync session (2026-09-10); Aaron's go: "do it". Watched operation — Aaron at the panel.
