WS7 — Studio surfaces: campaign view, staged-survivor review, role picker #375
WS7 — Studio surfaces: campaign view, staged-survivor review, role picker
Important
Problem — Campaigns (WS5) produce managed state that nothing renders: live loop iterations, gate verdicts, staged survivors awaiting human ingest. The studio renders managed state semantically — that is the product's own rule — and the chat mode selector still speaks plan/build while the product speaks roles.
Approach — Add the campaign view (live iterations, corrector verdicts, staged survivors with one-click promote that records the human ingest decision), and turn the chat mode selector into a role/campaign picker. Deliberately last: surfaces render managed state, they never define it.
A running campaign renders live: iterations, gate verdicts, and spend against the warrant
Staged survivors are reviewable in-panel; promoting one records the human ingest decision to the ledger
The chat surface offers role/campaign selection instead of raw plan/build
No regression to the Run Inspector or existing views
Testing Decisions
Extension webview tests for the campaign view (fixture campaign records); reuse the Run Inspector's SSE patterns; promotion-path test (the ingest click writes the ledger entry).
Key Decisions
The human gate is a first-class UI element — reviewing staged survivors is the designed human moment in an autonomous loop, not an interruption.
Plan/build remain available underneath as transport permission envelopes; the picker speaks roles.
Constraints & Invariants
The studio renders managed state; it never writes it directly (all writes via the CLI boundary).
Prior Art
The Run Inspector (live-streaming precedent); the dashboard/widget system; the fleet status surfaces.
