BUG: Fleet-synced session renders inline file links to remote-machine files as clickable, but nothing opens #1653

Description

@aarontrowbridge

Summary

In a fleet-synced chat session, inline links to files (specs, design notes,
etc.) that live on another machine in the fleet render as clickable links —
but clicking them shows nothing, because the file paths don't exist on the
local machine. The affordance is silently dead.

Context

  • Extension: harmoniqs.amicode 0.3.7 (linux-x64)
  • Engine pin: v1.17.3-amicode.4 (harmoniqs/opencode)
  • OS: Linux 7.1.1 x86_64
  • Chat transcripts produced on the fleet's central server reference file
paths under that machine's filesystem; when the session is viewed from a
different fleet machine, those files are absent locally.

Expected vs actual

  • Expected: the link either resolves the file through the shared
fleet/vault storage (or a remote fetch/preview), or the UI indicates the
file isn't available locally — not a clickable affordance that silently
    does nothing.
  • Actual: the link renders clickable; clicking shows no file and no
    explanation.
Diagnostics
  • No active run — no run-id pointer applicable.
  • Extension 0.3.7, engine v1.17.3-amicode.4, Linux 7.1.1 x86_64.
  • Symptom observed in fleet-synced session chat (links authored on the
    remote machine).
  • No absolute paths, binaries, or vault contents attached.
