fails to build on i686 #88
Description
I am attempting to compile this grammar for i686, but it runs out of memory with GCC 14.2.1:
cc -fPIC -Wall -I ./ -std=c11 -fstack-clash-protection -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE=2 -mtune=i686 -O2 -pipe -g -ffile-prefix-map=/builddir/tree-sitter-gitcommit-0.5.0=. -c ./src/*.c
cc1: out of memory allocating 65536 bytes after a total of 3848364032 bytes
I have tried both the latest release and HEAD of master

Same here on a memory-constrained VPS (1GB RAM / 2GB swap), using Debian sid / amd64 / GCC 15.2.0 / tree-sitter 0.26.8:
All the other 30 parsers I use compiled without problems. Adding another 2GB of swap also let
gitcommitfinish.(note that more people will probably run into this now that nvim-treesitter switched to compiling with the tree-sitter CLI)

Yep this error also occurs on github actions(when building the wasm), fails to build with what I presume is 7GB of memory in https://github.com/Crysthamus/tree-sitter-wasm
I believe this is due to the various locales?

Same here. Constraint VPS. This is the only parser that fails (and locks up my system)
