ci(id-nightly): disk telemetry + reclaim step before flake check (#257) - #1005
Conversation
Option A from queue task 1121: the full nix flake check intermittently dies with No space left on device while the big id derivations build. Add df -h telemetry before/after the reclaim and before/after the check, and a reclaim step removing preinstalled toolchains/SDKs this job never uses (dotnet, Android SDK, GHC, CodeQL hostedtoolcache, docker images) — the standard free-disk-space recipe, ~20-30 GB on ubuntu-latest. Only .github/workflows/id-e2e-nightly.yml changes; PR gate workflows untouched. YAML validated with python yaml.safe_load. Queue task 1121.

Refs #257 — Option A (queue task 1121).
The id e2e nightly's full
nix flake checkintermittently dies withNo space left on devicewhile the big derivations build (#257).Change (
.github/workflows/id-e2e-nightly.ymlonly):df -htelemetry before the reclaim, after the reclaim (before the check), and after the check (if: always()) — a recurrence is diagnosable at a glance./usr/share/dotnet,/usr/local/lib/android,/opt/ghc,/opt/hostedtoolcache/CodeQL, plusdocker image prune --all --force— the standard free-disk-space recipe from CI: nix flake check intermittently dies with 'No space left on device' in id-test/id-ci #257 (~20–30 GB onubuntu-latest).Out of scope (per packet): matrix-splitting the nightly (Option B), larger runners (Option C), shared target dir (Option D), and any PR-gate workflow — untouched.
Verification: YAML validated (
yaml.safe_load). Aworkflow_dispatchrun of this workflow on this branch is the acceptance test (telemetry visible in the log, no failures attributable to the reclaim step); the task parks awaiting that run and merges on resume if it passes.Queue task 1121.
