impl(lab): generic containers for ID and fleet purposes (Nix-built) #6076
Still live: filed today; the Nix-built container definitions do not exist yet.
Notes: the scoping risk is the word "generic" — the inventory step (what ID and fleet services actually run) decides whether this is one base image or a small family. The proof step (one ID service + one fleet service running from the images) keeps it honest.
Risks: over-general images that fit nothing well; registry story left implicit. Both are named in the body's checklist.
Decision flag (not a blocker yet): the registry/publishing story checkbox will need a Drew-visible decision (which registry, public vs private). It is recorded here so the implementer proposes a default with the PR rather than stalling; escalate only if the implementer cannot pick a reversible default.
Constraint restated from the issue: images must be Nix builds in this repo — no hand-maintained Dockerfiles (Drew's 2026-11-04 deployment program).
No new follow-up task enqueued — task 10498 already covers the prerequisite #5771 execution, and #6076 itself is in the queue system. Task 10439 completes as triaged.

Triage — task 10439 (lane code-s)
Verdict: live implementation issue, correctly scoped, distinct from the #5771 audit. Stays OPEN; effort/l as labelled.
Evidence checked fresh 2026-11-05:
pkgs/identity/web/Dockerfile), and whose execution follow-up is already queued as task 10498. Do the Containers: Nix-build audit — mcpx Containerfile, duplicate lab-ops Dockerfile, amd-crd definition-or-waiver #5771 execution workstreams first or jointly, then define the generic images against the audited set.No new follow-up task enqueued — task 10498 already covers the prerequisite #5771 execution, and #6076 itself is in the queue system. Task 10439 completes as
triaged.
