Add the Series Part blog template (blog-series-part) #60
Part of #5. Many blogs publish multi-part series ("Part 2 of 5"), and we have no template that shows where a post sits in its series.
Idea
The post title is the hero, with the series name in small caps above it. Under the title is a row of segments, one per part: segments up to the current part are filled with the accent color and the rest are dimmed. A "Part 2 of 5" label sits at the end of the row. Author and site name go in the footer.
Template details
File: src/templates/blog/series-part.ts, id blog-series-part
Fields: commonFields.title, seriesName (text), part (number, min 1, max 12, default 2), totalParts (number, min 1, max 12, default 5), commonFields.author, commonFields.siteName, commonFields.bgColor, commonFields.accentColor, commonFields.textColor
One template per contributor at a time, so more people get a chance.
Want to work on this? Comment below and I'll assign it to you. Please take one issue at a time, branch off dev, and open your PR against dev with Closes #<this issue number>.
Hey @bhushan4work, it's yours! The shared checklist is in #5.
Please check the template with the Download PNG button as well as the live preview, since the download renders on the server, and put a screenshot in the PR. Branch off dev and open the PR against dev with Closes #60.
Hi — I'd like to take #60 (the Series Part blog template). No open PRs in this repo right now.
Plan:
Create src/templates/blog/series-part.ts with the fields listed: commonFields.title, seriesName, part, totalParts, commonFields.author, commonFields.siteName, commonFields.bgColor, commonFields.accentColor, commonFields.textColor.
Layout: series name in small caps above the title, a flex row of segments (one per totalParts, flex: 1, gap between) filled up to part in accent color / dimmed beyond, "Part N of M" label at the end, author + site name in footer.
Clamp part ≤ totalParts and parse with Number() as per checklist.
Re-export in src/templates/blog/index.ts and register in src/templates/registry.ts.
Test locally with npm run dev and the editor preview, plus the Download PNG button.
npm run check and npm run test.
AI assistance: I use an AI coding agent (OpenCode) to draft the template code and test locally. I review every line, verify against the checklist, and can explain the diff in review.
Please assign it when you get a moment and I'll branch off dev with Closes #60.
Hey @sank8-hk, #60 is already done (it's closed and the template is live), so there's nothing to pick up here. Heads up too: this account and @sank8-2 look like the same person (both Sanketh Kumar). Please stick to one account for the program, since issue limits and the leaderboard go by account.

Sorry @anurag629 , switched to the work account by mistake. Will stick to only one.
