Thanks for the kind words, I'm glad you like the app! So far the idea I had in mind was to focus on ePub, but I recently found I'll need TXT for my own needs, so maybe that will change...
In the meantime, you can export to ePub and then convert to anything else using https://pandoc.org/
Oh, ok. I was hoping Scriptorium might eventually let writers draft, edit, and export directly to publisher-friendly formats for editable manuscript submissions (to agents, contests, publishers), rather than having to rely on another app for conversions.
That kind of end-to-end workflow helps keep writers focused on their creativity and the work itself instead of the tooling. Still, I completely understand the importance of keeping scope tight during early development.
If I were more than a “vibe coder,” I’d gladly throw my hat in the ring and help where I could!
You're right on all accounts, TXT would be needed to submit to some contests, as I recently found out; and it's important to keep a scope tight in the early days.
It should not be too hard to implement and won't divert the project from its objective of caring for novel editors (which is the main focus of the app) so it's a feature that could definitely go in at some point :-)
