Summary

Adds Cloud Agent operating notes to AGENTS.md so future agents can build and test note-c on the default image.

  • /usr/bin/cc and /usr/bin/c++ must point at gcc and g++. The base image's Clang C++ driver cannot link libstdc++.
  • Linux x86_64 unit tests compile with -m32, so the i386 architecture and gcc-multilib / g++-multilib are required.
  • Points at ./scripts/run_unit_tests.sh, test/integration, and ./scripts/build_docs.sh.
  • Notes that Ubuntu GCC hardening makes ./scripts/check_libc_dependencies.sh report __stack_chk_fail_local and __vsnprintf_chk, and makes the JItoA unit scenario abort because its 16-byte buffer cannot hold JINTEGER_MIN.

No architecture doc or source-research/ update: this does not change SDK behavior, APIs, hooks, dependencies, runtime flow, or build variants.

Test plan

  • ./scripts/run_unit_tests.sh (165 passed, JItoA aborted under stack protector)
  • test/integration link test (note_c_lib link test passed)
  • Docs build with Doxygen 1.9.8 and Sphinx (-DNOTE_C_BUILD_DOCS=ON)
  • Install script run twice (second run installed 0 packages)

Record the gcc alternative, 32-bit multilib requirement, and Ubuntu hardening behavior that unit tests and the libc audit hit.
