Endless loop in sorting command #481

Open

Description

@kitzberger

We just had the case where a (obviously broken) "self containing" container broke the sorting command by sending it into an endless loop.

+-------+------+--------+------------------+-------------+---------------------+----------------------+
| uid   | pid  | colPos | sys_language_uid | l18n_parent | tx_container_parent | CType                |
+-------+------+--------+------------------+-------------+---------------------+----------------------+
| 27541 | 1419 |    101 |                0 |           0 |               27541 | container_accordion  |
+-------+------+--------+------------------+-------------+---------------------+----------------------+

A simple SQL update fixed the problem for us:

UPDATE tt_content SET colPos=0,hidden=1,tx_container_parent=0 WHERE uid=tx_container_parent;

Maybe this check can be included into the sorting command? 🤔
