Summary

  • Report file-name mapping interpolation failures through the Maven plugin logger.
  • Wire the execution context to the owning Mojo logger so failures are no longer silently swallowed.

Changes

  • Preserve existing module behavior while emitting a warning with the original exception when mapping evaluation fails.
  • Keep the logger optional for direct/unit use of module classes.

Testing

  • mvn -Dspotless.skip=true -DskipITs -Dinvoker.skip=true test — passed (48 tests)
  • git diff --check — passed
  • mvn -DskipITs -Dinvoker.skip=true test — blocked by the local Palantir Java formatter/JDK incompatibility (NoSuchFieldError for JCTree$JCCompilationUnit.endPositions).

Fixes #515
