Infinite "Session compacted" loop on multiple models (DeepSeek V4, MiMo V2.5, MiniMax M3) #30443
Using OpenCode Desktop v1.15.13 on Windows 10. The app is completely broken and trapped in an infinite loop.It doesn't matter if I'm in Plan or Build mode, and it happens even on a brand new session with zero history. If I type just abc and hit enter, the UI instantly goes into a frantic loop, repeatedly spitting out "Session compacted". Along with that, it keeps rendering some weird template that looks like a TodoList or task tracker (not 100% sure what it is). It never stops, just loops the compaction forever.I've tested three different models so far: DeepSeek V4 Flash Free, MiMo V2.5 Free, and MiniMax M3 Free. All three of them trigger the exact same loop.Seems like the app's core token counting logic or context handler is broken on this version, making the orchestrator think the context window is full on the very first turn.
Plugins
The following plugins are installed (though I wasn't actively calling them for the abc prompt): oh-my-openagent@latest opencode-skill-creator opencode-skill-activation opencode-claude-auth opencode-subagent-statusline
OpenCode version
v1.15.13
Steps to reproduce
Launch OpenCode Desktop v1.15.13 on Windows 10.
Choose OpenCode Zen with either DeepSeek V4 Flash Free, MiMo V2.5 Free, or MiniMax M3 Free.
Open a brand new conversation/session (Plan or Build mode doesn't matter).
Type anything like abc and hit Enter.
Watch the app window immediately enter the endless "Session compacted" and template rendering loop.
