OpenCode ACP Registry agent not working in Zed #24061

Bug: Agent panel stuck on loading when switching to OpenCode agent installed via ACP Registry
When switching to the OpenCode agent after installing it through the ACP Registry, the agent panel is stuck indefinitely on the loading screen. The issue resolves only after manually adding the agent to settings.json.
Workaround:
I just manually added the OpenCode agent entry to settings.json like this:

- Switch to OpenCode's agent via the agent panel

This issue might be a duplicate of an existing issue. Please check:
settings.json) resolves it — which matches your workaround exactly.If your issue is distinct from #16137 (e.g., the agent panel is stuck on loading rather than showing stale sessions), please add more details clarifying the difference.

I appreciate being flagged— I have just checked out #16137 .
While the workaround is the same (manually adding the entry to
settings.json), both root problems appears to be distinct:So it's not a case of wrong data being shown — the panel never gets past loading in the first place. I only confirmed the workaround matches after reading the bot's comment, but the failure mode seems distinct.
I would be happy to provide any additional info or logs if needed.

@rekram1-node Yes, the issue still persisting
The steps:
I left on loading to see if it is just a one-time thing but about for about 15mins it was still stuck on loading.....

@rekram1-node I just received an update today zed v1.1.7 and tested the whole thing out again and it works.
