Remote MCP SSE disconnects spam server logs with generic failures #20890
When a remote MCP server drops its SSE stream, OpenCode emits repeated generic service=server error= failed log lines and MCP stderr noise. In my case this was easiest to observe with the ClickUp remote MCP, but the pattern looks generic.
Repro
Start opencode serve with a remote MCP configured over SSE.
Let the remote SSE stream terminate or flap.
Observe repeated noisy log output.
Expected
OpenCode should classify these as remote-MCP connection errors, ideally with rate limiting/backoff and clearer service attribution, instead of repeated generic server failure logs.
If your issue is specifically about the log spam/verbosity rather than the reconnection behavior, please clarify that distinction so maintainers can track it separately.
