Setup

1. Clone the repository
2. Install dependencies:

npm install

3. Set up environment variables: Create a .env file with the following variables:

MARKETSTACK_API_KEY=your_api_key

4. Start the development server:

npm run dev

Environment Variables

This project requires the following environment variables:

• MARKETSTACK_API_KEY: Your MarketStack API key for accessing financial data

For security, never commit API keys to version control. Use environment variables or secrets management.

Development

The project runs on port 5000 by default. The development server includes:

• Hot module replacement
• TypeScript compilation
• API proxying
