PiP Live preview not working on WeChat #455
Description
Function request, hope that after the window enables PIP, there are new messages to remind normally. Now when PIP is enabled, there are no reminders of new messages in the chat window. New messages can only be refreshed after pip mode is canceled.

What software are you using that the messages are not appearing in PiP mode and what version of WindowTop are you using?
I might be misunderstanding but do you mean windows notifications that appear above the system tray that are typically used for chat software for new messages?
I cannot help specifically but I am sure much of this information will help the developer try to understand and recreate the problem so as to try fix it.

Using enterprise WeChat software, after pip is enabled in an independent group chat window, customers will not update new messages in real time after sending them. New messages will not be displayed until they exit pip.

Regarding the issue the original poster mentioned — it’s about the live preview during PiP mode.
It’s important to note that the live preview feature only works if the software is activated with a license or during the 30-day trial period.
Beyond that, the live preview may still not work if you accidentally disabled it in the settings.
Please make sure this option is enabled:
Additionally, even if it’s enabled in the settings, it may not always work because some programs have compatibility issues with this function. In such cases, I recommend checking the “Show original window” option.
There’s a small downside — the original window will be visible — but this usually fixes the live preview issue.
If this resolves the problem, I suggest using “Save window configuration” on the PiP window:
That way, the configuration to show the original window (which fixes the live preview issue) will automatically be saved for the problematic program.
