Hi @SSheldon, I am opening this issue to ask about the maintenance status of this crate. Recent versions of rustc emit a future incompatibility warning when compiling block v0.1.6, meaning the crate uses syntax that will eventually become a hard error and stop compiling. There has been no release addressing this in a while.
Could you confirm whether rust-block is still actively maintained, or whether users should be pointed toward block2 instead. If this crate is no longer maintained I would like to file an informational advisory on RustSec so that cargo audit and similar tools can surface this to downstream users. I wanted to check with you first per RustSec policy before doing that.
