PlayShelf is a Nintendo Switch homebrew that browses a library server you run yourself (an AeroFoil or Ownfoil server, or a plain JSON index) and installs your own backups and homebrew from it. With an AeroFoil server, it also installs its cheats, keeps copies of your saves on it and asks it for a game.
It is built on the same technical base and the same Cadran look as PlayGuard.

Early development. Nothing is released yet: the catalogue, the downloads and the title database work in the web simulator, and are still to be checked on a console.

Important
PlayShelf installs content you own. It does not support, and will not support, encrypted Tinfoil indexes, Tinfoil's authentication headers or any service that distributes games without the rights to do so.

PlayShelf is built by JigSawFr, a full-stack engineer who has shipped production software for years, with AI coding assistants as part of the toolbox.
- I decide: architecture, scope, what ships and what doesn't.
- AI helps write: first drafts of code and tests, docs, and the translations.
- I review everything: every change is read, tested (on a real console when it touches
the console) and signed before it reaches
main.
Nothing in the app calls an AI service. More on boreale.dev.
GPLv3, see LICENSE. Maintained by JigSawFr, part of Boréale with PlayGuard and Aurore.
