IamDiesel/README.md

🇩🇪 Hi, ich bin Daniel. 👋

🛠️ Tech Stack & Hands-on Erfahrung

🇬🇧 Hi, I'm Daniel. 👋

Professionally, I work as a Technical Project Manager in the ADAS sector. However, my true passion lies in deep, hands-on engineering. To stay technologically sharp and thoroughly understand complex architectures from the ground up, I build advanced hardware and software projects in my free time.

My sweet spot is the intersection of low-level programming (sensors, PCBs, microcontrollers), algorithmic data processing, and IoT infrastructure integration. In my workflows, I heavily leverage modern, AI-assisted engineering methods to translate architectures into scalable code efficiently.

🛠️ Tech Stack & Hands-on Experience

  • Software & Security: C/C++, Python, Linux (IPC Tracing), ARM64 Assembly, Ghidra (Reverse Engineering)
  • Hardware & Algorithms: ESP32, DSP, KiCad (PCB Design), Sensor Fusion (EKF, IMM-CKF, AMCL Particle Filter, DBSCAN)

  • Highlights: Native Home Assistant integration via WebSockets, including a custom Lovelace dashboard parser. Implemented a highly optimized real-time video streaming pipeline combined with pragmatic audio streaming logic. Realized complex UI states using the LVGL library and event-driven controls.

2. Android White-Box RE & Anti-Tamper Bypass — Public Writeup (ARM64 / Ghidra / C++)

LibreLinkUp ALE Writeup | GlucoBridge (companion app)

  • What it is: An in-depth, public reverse-engineering report on the double-encrypted (TLS + Application-Level Encryption), white-box-protected crypto architecture of a commercial health app — driven by genuine interoperability (my own glucose value on my own smartwatch), focused on methodology rather than a how-to.

Bypass of multi-layered anti-tamper protections (integrity checks, Frida detection, Java-level RASP) on an unrooted device via a byte-preserving hardware-breakpoint hook and Smali patching. Key-model reconstruction from live traces (ARM64/AAPCS64) and "code lifting" the white-box into a separate process (replay-mint of live C++ objects, Ghidra disassembly) — verified byte-identically, without key extraction.
