What problem are you trying to solve?

Dear Freebuff team, could you please stop updating every 5 minute? every time when I open Freebuff there is progress bar that updating application :|

What would you like to happen?

Nothing just stop updating rapidly

Freebuff desktop is still more or less in its early beta phases, its gotten quite far but still a lot of bugs and patches needed so its to be expected that there would be rapid mini updates, I mean look at the issues page it flooded with feature and bug reports, give it another month or so and the updates should more slow down and hold more changes in a single update

I don't think the constant updates worth it either. Updates didn't fix anything client side so far and getting interrupted constantly and having to restart the platform while it struggle to reconnect is not worth it from a user perspective.

Yeah, I see your point, but technically you do have the option to temporarily choose the "stay on current version" option when a update pops up, skipping the update temporarily at least till the next new update comes out, which does stop the immediate interruption

Don't see the issue myself - since the updates yesterday/today, the app has been MUCH better. You have the option to either stay on the current version, update immediately, or update when idle - you're hardly being forced to update... SMH.
