I reproduced this on my test setup by opening the map configuration list and clicking Duplicate for an existing map. The action fails with: SQL Save on table weathermap_maps: Column debug does not exist, unable to save.
I expect a new map configuration and database entry to be created. Current upstream includes the column, so this report concerns compatibility with an installation where it is absent. I prepared a conditional payload that preserves the normal default when the column exists and omits it otherwise. I tested both payload cases and a successful duplicate on my test setup.
