Hi everyone,

Hi, I’m applying for the GitHub Student Developer Pack. In my Education Benefits application, I selected “Dated official/unofficial transcript,” but the form only provides “Start Camera”, there is no upload or file-picker option. The “Other” option also only provides “Start Camera.”

I have an official digital transcript and would like to know the approved way to submit it. Is camera capture of a physical document required, or is there a supported upload alternative? I have not submitted an application yet.

Hey, I had seen a few people run into similar issues with the Education Benefits form.

If it's only showing “Start Camera,” it might be that GitHub's verification flow is expecting you to capture the document directly instead of uploading a file.

Since you haven't submitted the application yet, I'd probably avoid submitting a screenshot or anything random just to get past the step. If your transcript is digital, I'd contact GitHub Education Support and ask if they can enable an upload option or tell you how they want digital transcripts submitted.

can you also help me. i am facing the same problem. every time i upload my college document , it reject my application and suggesting me to use the device camera and everytime i use device camera image got blur after capturing. i have tried many time but always got reject. Is there any way to verify document manually instead of verifying through that useless bot.
