Summary

• Update generation pins to schema v1.26.0 and draft v2.0.0-alpha.9, corresponding to schema crate 1.12.0, and regenerate vendored schemas, types, validators, guards, and API documentation.
• Remove retired Next Edit Suggestions and document-event APIs from both entry points, legacy adapters, routing, and obsolete tests. Unknown removed capability fields no longer map into v1 initialization.
• Carry client-provided system prompts through the generated lifecycle request types and validators.
• Synchronize current foreground state before every successful resume response in the dual-version example, including without history replay.
• Document aggregate foreground snapshots, metadata patches, capability negotiation, system-prompt gates, and active fork semantics.

Validation

• npm run generate
• npm run check (generation drift, lint, formatting, spellcheck, build, tests, and both TypeDoc entry points)
• Verified vendored schemas against release asset SHA-256 digests.
• Exercised the compiled dual-version agent over stdio: insertion receipts, running/idle, resume snapshots with/without replay, unsupported-cursor rejection, and close.
• Checked generated v1/v2 system-prompt validators accept valid instructions and reject malformed acted-on values.

Notes

• NES was removed upstream; this removes its SDK surface rather than retaining it as a separate experiment. This overlaps with feat: isolate NES behind an experimental entrypoint #284, which proposes isolating NES instead.
• npm ci reports four existing high-severity dependency advisories. No unrelated dependency or SDK package-version changes are included.
